Ladies Summer Lunch
One of the highlights of the Steyning Probus calendar is the Ladies Summer Lunch. This year it is on Tuesday 15th July starting at 12.30 at the Steyning Centre. Welcome drinks will be served ahead of Clay’s sumptuous buffet lunch. See you there. Details here.
Socials Co-ordinator
We have a new committee for 2025/26, but we have a vacancy for the Socials Co-ordinator. Steyning Probus Club usually organises a series of events and outings, which partners also attend. These events are an important and very enjoyable part of the Club’s activities.
Colin Harvey was our co-ordinator for a couple of years before becoming our new President. We now need a volunteer to fill this role. Anyone is welcome to organise an event, but it helps for it all to be co-ordinated. Can you fill this role and become a member of the committee?
Visit to Ford Recycling Plant for Wednesday 3rd September
Peter Winter is arranging a visit to the Ford Recycling Plant near Climping for Probus members. This is set for Wednesday 3rd September at 10.00am. Tim Lloyd has already visited the site and says that it is absolutely fascinating.
The visit is limited to a maximum of 14 persons, and lasts two hours with PPE provided. So in the first instance, it will limited so places for Probus Members only, i.e. no partners. Please Note: that this visit is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
There may also be an option of lunch afterwards at the Ship & Anchor pub which is close.
If you would like to go on this trip, please let Peter know as soon as possible and no later than 3rd July, as he has paperwork to fill out beforehand.
